Dr. Oglesby will briefly provide details of the application process to the Betty Ford Center, which is arguably the best facility in the world for assisting recovery from alcoholism and substance abuse. Previous attendees will also share their experiences and the impact of this program. Lunch will be provided.
TCOM is part of a program that permits students to observe/participate for a week at the Betty Ford Center. The purpose of the Betty Ford Center program is to educate students concerning the reality that recovery from these maladies is in fact possible, and to provide a deeper understanding of how that process works.
