Asst. Vice President of Innovation Ecosystems

My name is Cameron Cushman and I am the assistant vice president for Innovation Ecosystems here at HSC Next. My job consists of working to build and connect the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Fort Worth so that innovators, entrepreneurs, researchers and investors can successfully build and grow startup companies faster, avoid failure, create more jobs and build wealth. I have over a decade of experience in building entrepreneurial ecosystems, including working under the George W.  Bush Administration, the Kauffman Foundation and co-founding 1 Million Cups.

Department Details: HSC Next is a team at HSC. We advance solutions for a healthier community by guiding innovators to success. Our work is focused on filling the innovation pipeline and building a more robust innovation ecosystem. Together we’ll create new opportunities, inspire innovation and celebrate your success. HSC Next has six programs: Innovation Challenges, HSC Innovations, Innovation Labs, Innovate Fort Worth Podcast, SBIR Phase 0 Program, and Sparkyard.
