Guaranteed parking spots still available during garage construction

You can still join the 139 people who have volunteered to park at Will Rogers Center through May 31. Volunteers are guaranteed a place to park—either at the Will Rogers lot or parking garage and the new Dickies Arena garage (when Will Rogers parking is restricted during major events).

Shuttles run to and from the Will Rogers parking facilities during inclement weather. When it is necessary to park at the Dickies Arena garage, shuttles will be provided on all days, regardless of weather.

Why are we asking volunteers to park temporarily at Will Rogers?

To accommodate growth in all our programs, we are expanding Garage 5, located between Clifton Drive and the Center for BioHealth. During this construction, 200 Garage 5 spaces will be unavailable. We are seeking 200 volunteers to park at Will Rogers during this time.

It is important that we shift these 200 vehicles off campus temporarily so that students and employees arriving on campus during peak demand times will be able to find a parking spot.

Other parking improvements:

• Now you can know about anticipated heavy on-campus parking days ahead of time by checking the Parking Office website
• Counters in all parking garages are being reset more often to improve accuracy
• You can call Parking Office, 817‐735‐2210 or 817‐735‐2211 for parking assistance. The staff will pull up videos of each campus parking facility to let you know where campus parking is available. If all facilities are full, the staff will let you know where to pick up an RFID gate opener for the Will Rogers parking facilities during Garage 5 construction.
