UNTHSC recycles batteries and ink cartridges/toners as part of our Recycling 2.0 program (an addition to the co-mingle recycling on campus where general recyclable items is collected together).
To recycle, just send these items by interoffice mail to FMB 110 or put them in the receptacles located on the Library’s second floor near the Java Lab or near the MET’s Four Star Café. You can also drop them off in the Facilities Building Room 110. If sending by interoffice mail, please keep the larger cartridges/toners in their original boxes in order to minimize ink leakage.
Please do not put ink cartridges and batteries in the waste/co-mingle recycling containers or blue bins, as that is a separate program.
