UNT System News: Inclement Weather Updates

UNT World Faculty and Staff:

The UNT System’s member institutions and UNT System Administration continue to monitor wintery weather conditions in our region and have updated plans at all locations. The latest developments for each UNT System location as of Wednesday, Feb. 23, at 2 pm, were:

  • UNT Dallas and College of Law — All classes and business operations will remain fully virtual through Thursday, Feb. 24.
  • UNT – All classes and business operations (aside from essential services) closed Feb. 23 at 3 pm, and will remain closed on Thursday, Feb. 24. Classes were canceled starting at 3 pm Feb. 23 in addition to Feb. 24.
  • UNT Health Science Center – All classes and business operations (aside from essential services) closed at 3 pm Feb. 23. Classes were canceled starting at 3 pm Feb. 23 in addition to Feb. 24. Business operations (aside from essential services) will reopen virtually on Feb. 24. Supervisors will reach out to their employees about expectations for remote work.
  • UNT System Administration – All business operations (aside from essential services) were moved to virtual at 3 pm on Feb. 23 and will remain virtual on Thursday, Feb. 24. Supervisors will reach out to their employees about expectations for remote work.

Operational decisions related to Friday, Feb. 25, have not yet been determined – as officials across the system continue to monitor conditions, additional announcements will be made via email. All UNT System communications will also be posted to our @UNTSystem Twitter account.

Each UNT System member institution will communicate additional details to their respective campus communities regarding weather-related closures, as conditions and circumstances may vary by location.
