Today: Your blood donation will help renew the supply after Hurricane Harvey

Today, Sept. 20, regional blood bank Carter BloodCare will be in the EAD Atrium from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. to collect blood.

Due to Hurricane Harvey and flooding in Houston, hundreds of scheduled blood drives in Houston/south Texas were canceled, but hospital patients still need blood.

Carter BloodCare is assisting in making sure that their patients, as well as our own in North Central Texas, have the blood products they need. Carter BloodCare has already sent blood down to the Gulf Coast and will be sending more. Help replenish blood supplies at our drive on Sept. 20.

Remember to bring your ID.
