May is National Stop the Bleed (STB) Month and the training is back by popular demand. Compressible bleeding is the leading cause of prehospital death in trauma patients. Come learn from military combat experienced HSC faculty how to potentially save a life in the event you find yourself involved in a critical event with a bleeding patient. Learn how you may be able to save your own life or the life of a loved one or coworker. Ever wonder what is in those medical kits mounted on the walls all over campus? Attendees will be shown each item and trained on how to properly use them in a hands-on skill station.
