Staff and faculty invited to Jan. 16 forum on campus safety and security

The safety and security of our university community is a top priority. As we continuously strive to enhance our policies and programs related to campus security, it is helpful to periodically conduct objective assessments of our initiatives to help us understand how we may further address the safety of our community.

Margolis Healy, a campus safety and security consulting firm, will lead a comprehensive, external assessment of the University of North Texas Health Science Center Police Department. Through this assessment, we hope to further identify ways to enhance campus safety and improve upon the Department’s strategy and practices.

A team from Margolis Healy will be visiting the campus Jan. 15–17. They’ll be meeting with individuals representing numerous functions across campus.

All staff and faculty are invited to a come-and-go forum:

2:30 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.
Wednesday, Jan. 16
LIB 304
Refreshments will be served

Also on Jan. 16, a forum for students will be conducted from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. in LIB 304.

We greatly appreciate your continued support and contributions in making our campus a safe community for all.
