FCF core facility recently acquired a Sony SH800 Cell Sorter. It is equipped with three lasers (488 nm, 561 nm and 638 nm) and six fluorescence detectors. It supports Sorting into tubes and a range of multi-well plates, as well as index cell sorting for single cell cloning. Its chip nozzle design increases sterile condition during sorting. It has many automatic features that make operation easier. Sony SH800 is also equipped with class A2 Level II biosafety cabinet enable to sort BSL2 plus samples.
