See the Gallup Pulse Survey results

In January, we participated in Gallup’s Employee Engagement Survey to help us better understand our strengths and areas for improvement as we work toward becoming a Best Place for All.

Based on the January results, the President’s Cabinet chose to focus as an organization on improving team member recognition based on our results on Gallup Question 4: “In the last seven days, I have received recognition or praise for doing good work.”

Then, with the support of UNT System Human Resources, they equipped leaders with the tools to develop action plans focused on recognition and other opportunities for improvement in their respective areas.

To help measure the progress we’ve made since January, Gallup distributed a two-question “Pulse” follow-up survey in September that included Question 4 and the NetPromoter Question: “I would recommend UNTHSC as a great place to work.”
The Pulse survey results showed improvement for Question 4, but a decline in the NetPromoter question.

The Pulse survey results can be found at: https://insite.unthsc.edu/gallup-engagement-survey-results/ . We will be exploring these results further and work toward improvement.

There is still work to be done to transform UNTHSC into a Best Place for All, and it is going to take all of us working together as One University to get there. You can help lead this effort by:

• Collaborating with the Best Place for All team
• Discussing the results among your team to find ways to improve within your work group
