Postdoctoral Fellowship Opening in the Co-Occurring Disorders Lab

The Co-Occurring Disorders lab is seeking an energetic Postdoctoral Research Associate to work on several grant-funded studies examining cognitive functioning and serum-based biomarkers in veterans with and without mild traumatic brain injury and posttraumatic stress disorder to determine risks for Alzheimer’s Disease. The candidate will need a doctoral degree in Human Development, Experimental Psychology, Applied Psychology, Cognition & Behavioral Neuroscience, or a related field.
Knowledge / Experience:
Conducting cross-sectional and longitudinal human subjects research,
Creating, submitting, and maintaining IRB documents,
Statistical analyses such as regression, mixed model and repeated measure ANOVA, ANCOVA, MANCOVA, general linear modeling, etc.
Writing manuscripts, creating graphs and tables suitable for peer-reviewed scientific journal articles, lecture presentations, and conference posters
Presenting research at scientific conferences
Understanding of or experience with administering cognitive tests
Knowledge of or experience with mood disorder diagnostic testing.
The candidate must be a US citizen or have a green card.
The postdoctoral level for this position is “0” with a starting salary of $43,692.
