Performance Evaluations begin July 19; supervisor training available

Annual Performance Evaluations for faculty and staff will be conducted July 19-Aug. 31. Training is available for supervisors this week and again in August.

Effective performance evaluations are key to a high-performing culture and creating a Best Place for All. They are an important step to help us provide continuous performance feedback, essential for us all to reach our goals.

• How to give effective feedback
• Increase awareness of emotional impact
• Enhance your ability to utilize feedback effectively
July 17 — 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.

 Supervisor Communication Skills (SCS16)
• Understand the impact of nonverbal cues when conveying a message
• Identify and apply techniques to encourage critical thinking skills and promote discussion while leading a team
• Identify and refine techniques to deliver assertive communication
• Understand the importance of receiving feedback
