New President’s Council members announced

During the Dec. 18 President’s Cabinet meeting, 20 new President’s Council members were selected to replace those whose terms have expired.

There were 32 applications submitted for the 20 open council seats. We share our gratitude to all of you who were willing to help the Health Science Center achieve its mission and vision by serving on a council. As you know, the five President’s Councils were launched in January 2017 to help increase team member input, transparency and communication of decisions affecting the UNTHSC team.

In addition, Dennis Thombs, Dean, School of Public Health, was named head of the People and Culture Council and joins colleagues Greg Anderson, EVP for Finance and Operations, Charles Taylor, Provost, Anuja Ghorpade, Vice President for Research and Jason Hartley, Vice President for Operations in leading their respective Councils.
