Purpose: The purpose of this Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) is to further our understanding of how different behavioral, social, cultural, environmental, and institutional factors affect the trajectory of cognitive aging and Alzheimer’s disease (AD) and AD-related dementias (ADRD) and the experience of living with or managing AD/ADRD in different national or regional contexts. Specifically, NIA seeks to support (1) analyses of data from the Harmonized Cognitive Assessment Protocol (HCAP) from the U.S. or another country where HCAP data is available, or (2) cross-national analyses of HCAP data.
