Join the bone marrow donation registry and you might save a life

It takes only a few minutes and a cheek swab to join the bone marrow registry and possibly save a life.

Stop in at the Library lobby on Wednesday, Nov. 15, between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Team members will provide information and help you sign up if you wish.

Bone marrow transplants, and stem cell transplants drawn from marrow, are life savers for people with many conditions including leukemia and other cancers, and sickle cell disease.

If you become a donor, you may qualify for as many as five days’ paid leave.
