Jerry Emerson is always on the go, making sure campus buildings are impeccably clean. As Manager of UNTHSC’s Custodial Services team, he’s traveled a long way from his first dream … to become a rock star.
He had the long hair. He had the drum set. And, as a teenager, he planned to move to Los Angeles to become a drummer in a rock and roll band. He was a fan of Def Leppard, Rush and Journey, among others.
“Then I got really sick,” he said. “And I realized, the Lord had a much better life in mind for me.”
