Many areas of our lives have experienced change in recent weeks; however, one thing that remains constant is the HSC’s commitment to our mission: creating solutions for a healthier community.
From the opening of an off-campus COVID-19 testing site for Tarrant County first responders to volunteering to answer calls for Tarrant County’s 24-hour public health information line, we’ve seen members of our HSC family step up and live out our values during this unprecedented time.
The impact of the COVID-19 crisis on our HSC family and community is already being felt and the HSC wants to do all we can to help. As valued team members we want to keep you informed and share two important updates as a result of the pandemic:
• In the coming days the HSC will be launching a special giving initiative – HSC COVID Relief Fund. Supporters of this fund will have the opportunity to help our students adversely affected by the pandemic, fuel COVID research discoveries, or even donate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• The From Us. For Us. Internal Giving Campaign that typically runs the month of April has been postponed until further notice.
Please stay tuned for further information regarding the HSC COVID Relief Fund. We know that this is a difficult time and you may be experiencing uncertainties in your life right now, but you’re invited to invest in our people and their needs if you feel called to do so.
