The HSC campus began transitioning to normal operations while continuing to follow COVID-19 protocols on Monday, February 22. However, due to damage from the winter storms, the following buildings remain temporarily closed:
- Student Service Center
- Founders Activity Center
- May Street
- Bailey Building
- Faculty Parking Garage
- Health Pavilion Parking Garage
Additionally, several buildings have reopened with limited operating hours. The following buildings are only open from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m until further notice:
- EAD
- MET
- Health Pavilion (first floor)
Classes:
All classes, both in-person and online, resumed on Monday, February 22. If you experienced damage from the storm that affects your ability to participate in class, please inform your instructor immediately. While the Student Service Center is closed for repairs, services will be available virtually.
The UNT System Data Center that experienced an outage impacting access to online services last week has been restored. If you experience problems accessing Office 365, AMS or hardware-related issues, please contact the HSC Help Desk at helpdesk@unthsc.edu or call 817-735-2192. HSC Health:
HSC Health resumed in-person appointments on Monday, February 22.
Employees:
HSC understands that some team members may still be facing challenges in their personal lives caused by storm damage. We ask that supervisors be understanding and flexible with work hours and locations for those impacted. If supervisors have any questions regarding remote/flexible work arrangements, please contact Human Resources.
Employees should notify their supervisors immediately if their ability to work is affected. Please note, resources are available through the Employee Assistance Program to those in need.
