HSC’s Gallup Q12 Engagement Survey Scores

Dear HSC Team,

Gallup Q12 Engagement Survey results are in, and HSC’s scores are tremendous!

Here’s our snapshot:

  • 77% HSC participation rate.
  • 63% employee engagement – an increase over the previous score of 57%. HSC team member engagement has steadily increased since we began the survey in 2017.
  • 4.24 Grand Mean – which places HSC in the 85th percentile of all post-secondary education organizations.
  • 10.5 Gallup engagement ratio. This represents the correlation of engaged employees to actively disengaged. So, for every disengaged employee we have 10 actively engaged employees. This result places us at approximately the 94th percentile of the entire Gallup database across all industries. A truly extraordinary result and reveals that we are well on our way of becoming a Gallup Best Place to Work.
  • 39 Net Promoter Score – this is how likely our team members are to recommend HSC to a friend or colleague as a great place to work. That is nearly three times larger than any other campus in the UNT System and is a substantial increase from HSC’s 2019 Net Promoter Score of 23.

I am so incredibly proud of the HSC Team for your increased engagement and commitment to our vision, mission and purpose. Every day you bring passion to your work, whether in-person or virtually, and help HSC take a step closer to becoming a Best Place for All.

Upcoming, you will receive information on the Gallup Survey results and resources to better understand them. My sincere appreciation to everyone who participated.

Be safe, be well,

Dr. Michael R. Williams
