Get screened for skin cancer, free and on campus

Summer is coming! Pool parties, days on the lake, cookouts – it’s all fun.

But fun in the sun brings risk, also.

Ultraviolet rays from the sun – and also from tanning beds – age our skin and increase our risk of getting skin cancer.

Don’t just wonder whether you’re at risk. It’s never too early to get screened, and on May 22 and May 29, UNTHSC employees and students can do that for free, right on campus.

As part of Skin Cancer Awareness Month, TCOM alumnus and Assistant Professor Michael Carletti, DO, will provide the screenings.

Wednesday, May 22
11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
