We have embarked on an exciting journey to harness our collective potential to become truly one System, the University of North Texas System Enterprise. To navigate this new journey, we have partnered with the McChrystal Group to assist us to improve our leadership capabilities, unify our teams, champion our people, and create an environment of collaboration and trust. McChrystal Group is a firm that specializes in helping organizations achieve strategic goals while operating positively, collaboratively, and effectively across teams.
I have asked McChrystal Group to conduct an organizational assessment that will improve our understanding of how employees and leaders perceive our entire enterprise’s performance across core organizational capabilities and characteristics. I encourage your full engagement in this activity, as it will help us drive meaningful change as we fulfill our strategic vision.
The assessment will include an online survey of a broad selection of faculty and staff; and a selection of interviews with a random cross-section of individuals across all campuses; and focus groups with students, faculty, and staff. This data collection will ensure that diverse and representative voices are heard from each campus, and every organizational function. All responses are confidential and there are no right or wrong answers. Information you provide will be anonymized and reported to senior leaders in aggregate to protect your identity, so please be candid and honest in your responses.
Over the coming weeks and months, we will share the results of the organizational assessment with the entire UNT System Enterprise and provide you with updates regarding the steps we will take to address any findings or recommendations.
