Human Resources is pleased to offer learning sessions for the new online customer-friendly service FMLASource®.
As of January 1, 2017, FMLASource® administers requests and claims for these important and valuable employee benefits:
?Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA)
?Parental Leave
?State of Texas Sick Leave Pool. (Texas Government Code, Sec. 661.207.)
Employees can request and access records related to these leaves every day, 24 hours a day online or via smartphone app, or by telephone or facsimile from 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day.
Human Resources will provide step-by-step guidance for faculty and staff who may need FMLA or other leaves and provide assistance for supervisors responsible for tracking staff leave and maintaining accurate records.
