HSC Team,
Tarrant County has unanimously approved an agreement with HSC to lead the development and implementation of a vaccine distribution plan for our community. This is exciting news for HSC and all of Tarrant County, as we continue to prioritize the health and safety of all residents in our community. I know there has been confusion in the media about the status of this potential partnership, so I was honored and excited to receive the County Commissioners’ Court unanimous support and confidence in HSC.
It is important to note that this enhanced role will not affect vaccine distribution at HSC, at the clinic or among our patients. Furthermore, we will continue to adhere to the distribution tiers established by the Governor. HSC will continue to pursue vaccinations for team members through the established channels and update you as information becomes available.
Please recognize HSC is in the planning stages of this partnership and it is continuously evolving. As the vaccine plan is developed and implemented, we will share that information with you. What I can tell you is that I remain incredibly proud of the leadership all HSC team members continue to display as we serve and protect our community from this deadly pandemic.
