Congratulate the first Emerging Leaders cohort!

We’re excited to announce the first cohort of the Emerging Leaders program, part of a three-tiered approach for staff leadership development. Emerging Leaders kicks off its six-month course on Aug. 8.

We created the new staff leadership programs in collaboration with System Human Resources as a part of our effort to transform UNTHSC into a Best Place for All.

The three tiers:

  • Emerging Leaders – Helps front-line team members develop their leadership skills focused on leading self, leading others, and leading the organization.
  • Management Development – Strengthens and develops the operational skills of new and existing managers/supervisors.
  • Navigating Leadership – Addresses the leadership challenges that mid-level leaders face every day as well as aligns personal development with the overall strategic initiatives of our institution.

These annual programs have a nomination-based enrollment. If you are interested in participating in one of these programs, please discuss the possibility of a nomination with your supervisor. See the FAQs.
