Concept-mapping in the Classroom with Mindomo

Come learn how to use a new instructional technology tool, Mindomo, to facilitate concept mapping and mind mapping in the classroom. Faculty can use Mindomo to visually represent the relationships between concepts important to their classes and share those concept maps with their students. Faculty can even create Mindomo assignments to have students create and share their own concept maps. Students can use Mindomo as a study aid for materials in your courses. Finished concept maps and mind maps can be shared via email link, shared in Canvas, or even saved as a pdf file. Concept maps can also be worked on collaboratively by multiple creators on the same map. Finally, Mindomo has a presentation mode to facilitate presenting a finished mindmap to a live audience. This is a hands-on workshop, so be prepared to work with Mindomo while you learn! Lunch will be provided for registered attendees.
