Due to the unpredictability of spring weather, paving is now scheduled to start at 6 a.m. today, May 31.
Clifton Street will be closed to through traffic while work is performed. All parking lots and loading docks will still be accessible during this time. However, access will be restricted to certain routes:
• Access to Lot 1, Faculty Garage – Use Seventh Street
• Access to Lot 6, RES/IREB loading docks – Use Camp Bowie Boulevard
• Access to East Garage 5 – Use Darcy Street
• Crosswalks – Use sky bridges between Alumni Plaza and East Garage 5 whenever possible
The east side of Clifton (northbound lane) will be paved first, with the southbound lane immediately following. Please follow the instructions of any construction workers or traffic flaggers. Barring any unforeseen complications, Clifton Street will be open to regular traffic by Saturday evening.
