Capt. Jeff Arrington will be interim chief of the UNTHSC Police Department effective Feb. 1 after the departure of Laurie Clouse, who has accepted a position with Texas State University, announced Jason Hartley, Vice President for Operations.
Before arriving at the Health Science Center in 2015, Capt. Arrington had worked for the UNT Police Department, Denton Independent School District and Denton County.
Chief Clouse came to UNTHSC 11 years ago, after nearly seven years at the UNT Denton Police Department. Her last day at UNTHSC will be Jan. 25.
