In this first session, participants will learn how to:
*Explain the purpose of using Canvas.
*Use the global navigation bar to navigate Canvas.
*Adjust profile settings in Canvas.
*Adjust notification settings in Canvas.
*Describe the common utilization of Canvas in a didactic course.
*Utilize options in Course Details:
*Set Start and End dates in a course.
*Restrict student participation/viewing to inside these dates.
*Enable Grading Scheme.
*Add Announcements to the homepage.
*Organize course navigation and hide navigation items.
*Identify that there are available “Feature Options.”
*Import some or all course content from a previous course in Canvas.
*Utilize the link validator tool.
*Launch the student view of any page.
*Enable students to: Attach a file to Discussions, Edit/Delete their posts within Discussions, Organize their own Groups.
