Budowle to Deliver Outstanding Graduate Faculty Seminar

Each year at UNT Health Science Center, the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences and Graduate Student Association proudly sponsor the Outstanding Graduate Faculty Seminar Series. The graduate student body annually selects one outstanding faculty member who is invited to present his or her research efforts in a public seminar. This seminar series was created to foster an understanding of the long-term research efforts of the award recipients. Recipients are selected based on their commitment to the ideals of higher education, involvement in graduate education and dedication to the student body. This remains the highest honor bestowed upon a member of the GSBS faculty.

This year?s Outstanding Graduate Faculty Member is Bruce Budowle, Ph.D. Professor of Molecular and Medical Genetics and Director of the Center for Human Identification at UNT Health Science Center. Dr. Budowle will present a seminar entitled “Looking Back to Forge a Strong Foundation for the Future: Solving Real World Problems with Science” on Thursday, October 20, 2016, at 3:30 p.m. in Luibel Hall (EEAD-108). You are cordially invited to attend the seminar and the reception honoring Dr. Budowle immediately following.
