Be alert for phishing emails

A common tactic of phishing emails is to ask the user to click a link to confirm or reset their password.

Please remember that neither UNT or HSC will request you to download updates, confirm or validate login information, or provide your password through an e-mail. Please do not respond to messages asking for any of your credentials or private information.

If you are suspicious about a message, please forward it as an attachment to Abuse@unthsc.edu for investigation.

If at anytime you feel that your account has been compromised, please change your password immediately at https://ams.unt.edu, and please don’t hesitate to contact the Helpdesk with any concerns regarding security or suspicious messages.
