A new chapter for Jason Hartley, VP of Operations

As many across campus already know, Jason Hartley, our vice president of operations, is leaving HSC to pursue a new and exciting opportunity. Jason has been a valued member of HSC, spending more than 20 years here serving on the operational side. Many of the enhancements and renovations you see today have his fingerprint on them as the lead for those projects. He spent time meeting and speaking with faculty, staff and students on campus to ensure he had a good understanding of needs, concerns and/or simply to chat. Many may reflect on his “high” energy when he spoke of or managed projects. His desire always was to produce a quality outcome because he cared about his work, his staff and HSC.

We appreciate all of Jason’s contributions throughout the years to HSC, and he will certainly be missed. I and the entire leadership team wish Jason good luck and much success as he moves on to the next chapter in his career. Leaving family (which is what he often said about HSC) is never easy, but family does not stop being family simply because someone moves.

Congratulations, Jason, and have fun!

All the best,
Ruth Roman, EVP and Chief Operating Officer
