Each calendar year, Trinity Metro offers UNT Health employees and students 25% off discounts on monthly and annual passes (referred to at the EASYRIDE or E-pass program). The Office of Sustainability, with approval from the Sustainability Committee, subsidizes the cost for both employees and students with deeper discounts given to students. Annual passes for 2026 are now on sale for up to 75% off.
Passes are valid for the entire year (January through December 2026). Types of passes include:
LOCAL – Valid on Trinity Metro buses, TRE from T&P to Centerport, and TexRail; $150 for students, $250 for employees
REGIONAL – Valid on all services in Tarrant, Dallas and Denton Counties (including all rail services); $350 for students, $600 for employees
Subsidized annual passes include all of 2026 and can be purchased anytime (prices decrease mid-year). Pay by cash or check (payable to UNT Health) at Facilities, located at 901 Clifton St. Please email sandy.bauman@unthealth.edu to inform us of your planned visit, as we are not always in the office.
