UNT System Procurement Office Introduces New Contract Lifecycle Management Tool

UNT World Faculty and Staff:

The UNT System Procurement office is now utilizing a new contract management system called JAGGAER Total Contract Manager (TCM). This end-to-end solution manages every phase of contract development from initiation through negotiation, approval, execution, renewal and expiration.

Why JAGGAER, and why it’s important

JAGGAER TCM allows for contract processing using automated workflows, in-system communications and other functionalities that enable contract lifecycle management. TCM allows UNT World to centralize contract metadata, document milestones and automate renewal and expiration alerts to significantly streamline the process used to manage contracts.

This investment will result in cost savings associated with avoiding unwanted automatic renewals, reduced processing times and vendor performance management. Take a look:

Implementing JAGGAER TCM

The Procurement Office is already live with TCM in support of all procurement agreements at UNT, UNT Dallas and UNT System Administration. UNT Athletics and the Caruth Police Institute at UNT Dallas are going live later this summer with their non-procurement agreements. TCM is also available for other departments to manage their non-procurement contracts. The UNT System Procurement office is managing new procurement expenditure contracts in TCM and is currently migrating older procurement contracts throughout the summer.
