Kendel demonstrates every one of our institutional values, not only at work but also in her personal life. Yet, her commitment to Serve Others First rises above the rest, often at her own personal sacrifice. At half my age, she inspires and compels me to make decisions through a values-based lens. She never moves forward without considering how her actions will affect others. Her personal life mission includes creating solutions for a healthier community largely because of her own experience caring for a loved one with diabetes. Her integrity is beyond reproach. We are fortunate to have Kendel as part of the HSC team. She WILL change the world for good, both here at HSC and beyond
