Valubility of the Month May 2022

Nominated by Pharmacy Class of 2024 for Collaboration

Andrea Lenear served as our Pharmacy Student Government Association Class of 2024 Curriculum Liaison this last academic year. Despite numerous, immediate changes in our curriculum due to the Delta and Omicron COVID-19 variants, snowstorms, and other external events, Andrea was a steadfast servant leader to our cohort. Throughout the year, she collaborated with CAP, course directors, and P3s to create new CAP LGTs and pre-exam reviews. She also coordinated communication between 20+ faculty and our 93-person cohort to allow for more office hours and exam prep when needed. During every block, Andrea always reached out for class feedback and did her best to implement that feedback or use that feedback to empower other students in finding specific resources for their unique situation. Most of all, Andrea displayed kindness and patience. She was a good steward of our time, our faculty’s efforts, and of the technical resources available to us during a hybrid curriculum. Our P2 year was better because of her. Our class may never truly understand the positive impact she has made for us, but through this award, we want her to know that she and her efforts are appreciated.
