Student Rotations at Medical City Fort Worth

Welcome to Medical City Fort Worth (formerly Plaza Medical Center of Fort Worth).
Elective/audition rotations are offered to fourth year students enrolled in an approved US medical school. Students of such schools that have a current affiliation agreement with Medical City Fort Worth, (please verify with your institution) are welcome to apply. We are not offering rotations to non-TCOM third year students. At this time, we do not accept international medical students. The electives/rotations offered below are according to availability. Some can be arranged between the student and the preceptor’s office. After an arrangement has been made, you must complete the application process as outlined below and send it to us.
Observership: We do not have an observership program.
Application Processing: Up to 4 weeks after receipt of all required documentation. We will email you on the status of your application.
We currently use VSAS. All students must complete/submit the requested items for processing your rotation(s). We do not hold slots and you will not be scheduled until all required documentation has been received and processed.
Housing: Visiting students are responsible for locating and securing their own transportation, housing, and meals during rotations.
Orientation: Prior to your start date, you will receive orientation information sent to your school-issued email address. Be certain you list it on your paperwork where requested.
