Mission Statement:

Family Medicine Program’s mission is to improve health and promote well-being for all people in our community by providing exceptional physician training and high quality, holistic care for our patients. Our community includes Hood, Somervell, and Erath counties in TX. Sponsoring Institution:

  • Mission: Lake Granbury Medical Center will be the area’s provider of choice by delivering quality care and service.
  • Vision: Lake Granbury Medical Center will be the model community hospital by setting the standard in: Quality and Safety, Service, Employee Satisfaction, Efficiency, and Growth.

Program Aims:

Family Medicine Program aims to launch eight well-trained young physicians per year into the healthcare workforce. These young physicians will demonstrate exceptional patient care skills and the ability to improve health and promote well-being for themselves, their colleagues, and their patients.

Salary and benefits

Standard benefits package commensurate as for all LGMC employees, inclusive of medical, dental, and vision benefits, as well as other offerings described in the CHS Benefits Guide current at the time of hiring.

  • PGY1 – $54,000
  • PGY2 – $56,000
  • PGY3 – $58,000
  • PGY4 – $60,000
