School of Public Health (SPH)

Orientation Dates:

SPH Spring Orientation 2016: Students will be enrolled in an Online Orientation course on a rolling basis depending upon date of admittance. If you are receiving a technology package as part of your program, you will be receiving an email with the date to pick up your lap-top and receive technology training.

SPH  Fall Orientation 2016: August 8th-12th, 2016The orientation agenda can be viewed HERE.

**International students are required to complete the online orientation and the International Student Orientation.  Information on International Student Orientation will be coming soon.


Registration

Please attend the School of Public Health Academic Advising & Registration Session (SPHAAR) to register for your courses. 

You will need your EUID to register for classes. Your EUID is the login required to access the UNTHSC student information system, and was emailed to you during the admissions process.

Books

UNT Health Science Center has an Online Bookstore for students to purchase textbooks.  If you are looking to purchase new or used textbooks, please visit: www.unthsc.bkstr.com

Additional offerings include Digital Textbooks and specially priced Microsoft and Adobe software.

UNT Health Science Center and Alumni Association merchandise are also available for purchase through the Online Bookstore.  Shop the website to purchase a t-shirt, car decal or coffee mug!

Laptops

For students entering in Fall 2015, a university-issued technology package will be provided to certain degree programs. Click HERE to learn more about the technology package.

Programs that receive the technology package:

MPH, PhD and DrPh students

Programs that do not receive the technology package:

MPH Professional Option, MHA, Certificate and Non-degree students

Immunization Requirements

Immunization requirements for ALL UNTHSC students can be found here. You will receive an email with information about submitting your immunization records through Certphi, MyRecordTracker. Additionally, Tuberculosis Testing (PPD) is provided annually through the Student  Health Clinic Personnel.  The Student Health Clinic will notify your class via email with date, time and location details.
