Exam Review Policy

The purpose of reviewing the exam outside the classroom is to identify patterns of mistakes or subject deficiencies. Things to look for: Are you struggling with 2nd and 3rd order questions, are you changing answers, is there a specific concept you missed multiple times, etc.

CAP Exam Review Policy

Exams are available for review:

· At a time determined by CAP staff

· For up to 5 business days

· By appointment only, via the email link

Exam review appointments are:

· An optional service offered by CAP

· NOT guaranteed

· NOT required

· First-come, first-served

· Only available using the test review announcement email

· NOT rescheduled if you miss your appointment

· NOT made by calling CAP

Exam Review Procedure:

· Must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance

· A maximum of 15 minutes per exam

· Only allowed to review the questions that you answered incorrectly

When reviewing your exam:

· Bring your student or personal ID card

· Bring a printed copy of the exam report from SGR/ExamSoft

· NO cell phones, laptops, or other electronic devices allowed

· Notebooks, textbooks, and writing utensils are not permitted

· No talking permitted

Cancellations:

To cancel an appointment send an email to CAP@unthsc.edu at least two hours prior to the appointment with the time of your original appointment in the memo line (Test Review Cancellation 11:30 am). The appointment will be canceled and you will be able to use the original test review email to reschedule. If you do not email or call at least 2 hours prior to the appointment, we will be unable to reschedule and you will forfeit your appointment. You will not be able to schedule another appointment to review the exam.
