Manage data, budgets, and contracts and milestones on the Enterprise Information System (EIS). Coordinate with principle investigators and other research teams to process research contracts and agreements.

In addition to these “hats” I am the AS9100 Program Manager, in which I develop and update policies and procedures for EHS related topics. The Analyst portion of my job requires me to calculate and report safety performance metrics of facilities and functional groups to Textron and upper management. Additional Analyst duties require me to report any metrics to OSHA or Department of Labor and Statistics.

My main project is helping to maintain the State of Hawaii of Antimicrobial Resistance Project (SHARP). The data that is collected in SHARP contains the majority of the antimicrobial susceptibility test data in the state, and from this data we are able to track changes in antimicrobial susceptibilities. Currently I am looking at data from SHARP to determine the possibility of Carbapenem-resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae infections and the epidemiology of Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus in the state.
