MPH Cost, Scholarship & Aid

Total program tuition and fees cost for Texas Residents is $13,952. For non-residents: $37,472.
Applicants whose submissions are complete and verified by March 15 will be considered for the Dean’s Incoming Student Scholarship. These awards are designed to recognize outstanding academic achievement. Selected students receive $1,000 for each of their 2 years of study. The award qualifies non-resident students to receive in-state tuition. Additional scholarships are awarded by the UNTHSC Student Finance office. Click here for more details.

Graduate Assistantships with Tarrant County Public Health (TCPH) are offered to 3 highly qualified new students each year. Those students placed with TCPH work 15-19 hours a week through their first Fall and Spring semesters, earning about $5,000 over the year.

Additional teaching assistant and work opportunities are available to students throughout the year. Currently 35% of SPH students are employed on campus during their course of study.

Financial Aid is available to support tuition, fees and living expenses. Average loans taken for UNTHSC School of Public Health MPH students is $11,797. Contact Financial Aid for specific questions and counseling.
