CEPH Accreditation Self-Study
On June 3-5, 2015, the UNTHSC School of Public Health (SPH) hosted a re-accreditation site visit from the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH). At the October 21-24, 2015 CEPH Board of Councilors Meeting, a decision was made to re-accredit the SPH for a seven-year term, extending accreditation to December 31, 2022.

CEPH is an independent agency recognized by the US Department of Education to accredit schools of public health and public health programs offered in settings other than schools of public health. The Council’s focus is the improvement of health through the assurance of professional personnel who are able to identify, prevent and solve community health problems.
