Our Team Mission
Create solutions for a healthier community by providing effective and efficient administrative support to each other, faculty, students, and the university. We will establish and maintain a balanced and supportive atmosphere through mutual respect, teamwork, efficiency, and continued professional and personal growth, in support of the department and university missions, visions and values.
Kim Williams, Assistant to the Chair: Kim provides direct support to the department chair and functions as the office manager for the program. She acts as a liaison between the students and the program on all issues not related to curriculum. She is responsible for financial accounting, personnel documentation, and various day-to-day operations.
Diane Chew, Administrative Coordinator: Diane is responsible for administrative support to faculty, didactic scheduling, purchasing, travel, maintaining databases and troubleshooting technology within the department. She assists with the pre-clinical phase of the program.
Claudia Garcia, Senior Administrative Coordinator: Claudia worsk with the Director of Clinical Education, and the Clinical Site Coordinator, to schedule clinical rotations for third year PA students. In addition, she assists with student credentialing and grading of clinical courses. She is also the department timekeeper for payroll purposes.
Taylor Gray, Administrative Coordinator: Taylor’s duties include administrative support to faculty, assisting with scheduling, purchasing, & travel, inventory control, and ordering supplies. She provides course support to the pre-clinical phase of the program.
Sandra Mann, Senior Administrative Associate: Sandy is the front office receptionist assisting students, faculty and staff. She supports the program with setting appointments, maintaining department files and other data related documents. She greets program visitors and answers telephones.
Julius Hurd, MA, Clinical Site Coordinator: Julius assists the Director of Clinical Education by recruiting preceptors and rotation sites, performing site visits, and maintaining data. He assists with the clinical phase of the program.
