Information for Visitors
Thank you for taking the time to visit the UNTHSC PA Studies Program. This web page is designed to help prospective students find information on travel, local accommodations, and area attractions.
1. Confirm your appointment before setting any airline reservations.
2. If you are traveling by air to Dallas-Ft. Worth (DFW) International Airport, it will take you approximately one hour by car to reach the campus. If you are flying into Love Field Airport, it will take
approximately one hour and thirty minutes. Please budget for this time when planning your visit.
If you fly to the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, we suggest that you rent a car at the airport. Taxi fare from DFW is approximately $45-$60 for one way. Taxi fare from Love Field is approximately $70 one way. In addition, there are two shuttle services you may want to consider:
Airporter Bus Service will take you to and from the DFW airport from downtown Fort Worth hotels. From there, you will have to take a taxi to campus. For more information about the Airporter, call 817.334.0092 or visit their website: www.the-t.com
SuperShuttle will also take you to and from the DFW airport from our campus or Fort Worth hotels. They do offer door-to-door service. For more information about SuperShuttle, please call 817.329.2000 or visit their website: www.supershuttle.com
If you are traveling west on Interstate 30 from Dallas take exit 11 for Montgomery Street. Turn right onto Montgomery Street and go 1.0 miles until you turn left onto Camp Bowie Boulevard. Take the first right onto Clarke Avenue. Turn right immediately onto Haskell Avenue where you will find Parking Lot #7 on your left.
If you are traveling east on Interstate 30 from Abilene take exit 11 for Montgomery Street and turn left. Follow Montgomery Street north for 1.1 miles until you turn left onto Camp Bowie Boulevard. Take the first right onto Clarke Avenue. Turn right immediately onto Haskell Avenue where you will find Parking Lot #7 on your left.
