Haylie Miller, PhD
Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy and has been a leader in curriculum development for UNTHSC’s Emotional Intelligence courses and Graduate Certificate in Lifestyle Health. Dr. Miller earned her bachelor’s degree at Vanderbilt University, and completed her master’s and doctoral degree programs in experimental psychology at the University of Texas at Arlington. Her area of expertise is developmental cognitive neuroscience. She has specific interest in the psychosocial factors that influence lifestyle health behaviors, interdisciplinary healthcare, and visuomotor processes in Autism Spectrum Disorder. Dr. Miller has an active program of research at UNTHSC in the Human Movement Performance Laboratory, where she studies visuomotor processes in Autism Spectrum Disorder in collaboration with Dr. Nicoleta Bugnariu.
