This system is based off a fully motorized Axio Observer 7 Inverted Microscope with Motorized Scanning Stage with Piezo Z and includes the following:
LSM Detectors (Spectral detection of 4 channel with two GaAsP):
- 2 multi-anode and 1 GaAsP PMT
- Includes additional Airyscan GaAsP detector for super-resolution and Fast Mode
- Transmitted light detector T-PMT for detection of DIC, IR-DIC with laser illumination
Incubator Enclosure – Maintains user set CO2 level, temperature & humidity around the sample stage & objectives. For live cell experiments.

This system is based off a fully motorized Axio Observer 7 Upright Microscope with Motorized Scanning Stage with Piezo Z capable of accommodating small animals and includes the following:
LSM Detectors (Spectral detection of 4 channel with two GaAsP):
- 2 channel green/red GaAsP NDD for MP
- Transmitted light detector T-PMT for detection of DIC, IR-DIC with laser illumination
- Spectral detection 3 ch with one GaAsP

- Mai Tai HP Tunable Laser (690-1040 nm) Mai Tai HP provides more than 300 nm (690–1040 nm) in useable tuning range with over 2.5 W of average power and a pulse width of less than 100 fs

Meta-head – for normal confocal including a spectrophotometric linear ccd array
Live-scan head – for capturing short duration events (i.e. Calcium Sparks). Uses line-scanning rather than point scanning (not as high a resolution image as with the Meta-head)
