Red Alert

Red Alert is a mass notification system utilized by UNT Health Science Center to quickly send information about emergency situations to the health science center community. Red Alert is used for critical situations, such as campus closings and public safety emergencies.

All students, faculty, and staff are automatically enrolled in Red Alert using the telephone numbers you provided to UNT Health Science Center during the registration or hiring process. Log in to your myHSC web page at my.untsystem.edu  (employees) or my.hsc.unt.edu (students) to ensure your contact information is correct and get in the habit of updating the information as soon as it changes. Update your contact information by choosing the Red Alert option under the Profile tile on your Student Homepage.

Red Alert allows UNT Health Science Center administrators to quickly contact campus community members about emergency situations affecting the safety and well being of people on and around the UNT Health Science Center campus. The system sends a voice message, text message and email to all active faculty, staff and students. You can enter up to three phone numbers, and you will be contacted at all of the numbers you provide.
