Research Appreciation Day (RAD) is an institutional tradition encompassing medicine, public health and basic science. The program provides an opportunity for students, faculty and staff to share their research efforts with the campus community and the public. The program encourages the development of joint research projects and increases the community’s awareness of the outstanding quality and range of research conducted at UNT Health Science Center.

The 32nd Annual Research Appreciation Day award ceremony is scheduled for March 21-27, 2025.

  2. Only competition posters and oral presentations are considered for awards.

  4. All competition entries will be assigned to, and reviewed, by judges.
  5. The Rule of 3: competition posters are considered for no more than three awards.
  6. There are no ties. Judge coordinators from each school will manage breaking a tie.
