Who Do We Want to Connect With?

Families and individuals:

We have a number of ongoing research projects, some of which include monetary compensation. We are often looking for participants who are typically-developing, as well as participants with ASD. A current list of projects can be found here.

We also want to be a point of contact for anyone in need of resources. We keep a current list of clinical and community partners, activities for people with special needs, and web-based resources that address a variety of topics.

Clinical and community partners:

We want to connect with clinicians and community organizations that serve the ASD community. These relationships can be as simple as placing our study flyers in an office, or as complex as initiating a collaborative research project.

UNTHSC researchers are available for “Lunch & Learn” activities or training for organizations interested in initiating autism-focused outreach or programming.

Potential collaborators:

We are actively seeking collaboration with researchers both in and outside of the field of ASD.

The HMP Lab is equipped to study complex systems through integrated technologies, and offers unique opportunities for multi-faceted investigation of questions related to motor development and rehabilitation sciences.
