Tarrant County Cancer Disparities Coalition

Our Mission

The mission of the Tarrant County Cancer Disparities Coalition is to serve, support and represent the interests of those medically underserved, un-insured or under-insured cancer populations. This is accomplished through partnership, outreach and collaboration with the community, provider organizations, academic institutions, cancer survivors and governmental agencies.

Through coordinated efforts to educate, and advocate for this population, the Coalition aspires to inform and influence public policy to reduce the incidences of cancer disparity while insuring that these efforts reflect the voice of this community regarding prevention, diagnosis and treatment.

Our Vision

Our vision is to contribute to the reduction of the burden of cancer in the community by partnering with the larger community to create a broad regional approach to fighting cancer. Through collaboration and partnership, the Coalition will strive to become a catalyst for research and source for public policy development and consultation.
